The NBA QuickBooks Certification program assures employers that you possess the knowledge and skills to accurately and productively perform bookkeeping with QuickBooks financial software.

Requirements
The QuickBooks Certification program includes an educational component comprised of the QuickBooks for Beginners and Intermediate training and QuickBooks Learning Guide. The training and Guide are for QuickBooks users who want to learn or enhance their QuickBooks knowledge and skills and serve as the educational foundation for our QuickBooks Certification exam. The Guide can also be used as educational tool for QuickBooks personnel.

To earn the QuickBooks Certification, individuals must complete the following steps:

1. Attend the QuickBooks for Beginners Training,
2. Study the corresponding QuickBooks Learning Guide lessons,
3. Review and complete the QuickBooks Learning Guide handouts, exercises, and quizzes,
4. Attend the QuickBooks Intermediate Training,
5. Study the corresponding QuickBooks Learning Guide lessons,
6. Review and complete the QuickBooks Learning Guide handouts, exercises, and quizzes,
7. Request access to the QuickBooks Certification online exam, and
8. Successfully complete and pass the exam.

Individuals who meet these requirements receive our QuickBooks Certification certificate.

QuickBooks Certification Exams
NBA's QuickBooks Certification exam is used to test the QuickBooks user’s QuickBooks competency. The exam consists of 85 multiple choice questions. As you complete the training and Guide you may request access to the exam via email or telephone during NBA business hours M-F, 8 am - 5 pm MT. You have 24 hours to take and submit the exam for grading and the exam is "open-book". You must receive an 80% in order to pass the exam. Test results are made available to you within 24 hours. If necessary, you must wait one full week to retake the exam. However, there is no additional fee to retake the exam. To request the exam, please email exams@nationalba.org or call 866-444-9989.
